Dr. Sandeep Jejurikar is a dual fellowship-trained, board-certified plastic surgeon serving Naperville, Downers Grove, Plainfield, and other Chicago suburbs and Illinois communities. A former president and board member of the Illinois Society of Plastic Surgeons, he offers a range of plastic surgery procedures and nonsurgical skin treatments. Born and raised in the Midwest, Dr. Jejurikar began his career when he was admitted directly out of high school to the prestigious Integrated Premedical-Medical Program at the University of Michigan. He was 1 of only 9 out-of-state students to earn this honor.

One of the reasons to choose Dr. Jejurikar is his extensive professional training. He was selected for the 6-year plastic surgery residency program at the University of Chicago Hospitals, one of the top 10 medical centers in the United States. During his residency, he received outstanding training in all facets of cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. Dr. Jejurikar constantly strived to obtain the most advanced plastic surgery training possible. To that end, he is one of a select group of plastic surgeons nationwide to complete 2 additional years of clinical fellowship training after residency.
Passion for Plastic Surgery
A plastic surgery specialist, Dr. Jejurikar has been assisting patients with their aesthetic and reconstructive needs since 1999. While attending the University of Michigan Medical School, he became fascinated by the clinical diversity, surgical creativity, and technical challenges of plastic surgery and decided to make it his chosen career.
Advanced Training in Reconstructive Surgery
Following his plastic surgery residency at the University of Chicago Medicine, Dr. Jejurikar pursued 2 additional years of specialized fellowship training. He completed a fellowship in reconstructive microsurgery at the University of Chicago and a fellowship in hand surgery at the Christine M. Kleinert Institute for Hand and Microsurgery.
