After careful consideration and thorough discussion and examination, Dr. Jejurikar will personalize a breast lift treatment plan for you. In most cases, the procedure is performed under general anesthesia. Incisions will usually be made around the areola, around the areola with an incision down to the breast crease, or around the areola with an incision down to the breast crease and across it. With these incisions, Dr. Jejurikar will lift and reshape your breasts, remove excess skin, and reposition or reduce the size of the nipple and areola, if necessary.
Breast Lift Recovery & Results
After suburban Chicago breast lift surgery, you will experience some swelling and discomfort. This can be minimized with pain medication and by wearing bandages and a support bra as your breasts heal. Incision lines will fade over time, but may still be visible.
