Kind, caring,professional and skilled describes Dr. J. He takes the time necessary to explain the procedure without rushing you in and out of the examination room. Post operative instructions are clear and concise. You are in very excellent hands with this surgeon. His staff is also exemplary.
Dr. Jejurikar is working on prevention of surgery for infected wound on my leg. He has put a lot of trust in me to care for my wound. He made me feel like I will heal successfully. Attending staff were phenominal showing me every step of the way.
I have had a few procedures done by Dr Jejurikar since May 2018, and found him to truly go above and beyond my expectations. He made sure I was happy with the results, or he fixed it until I was. He listened to all concerns I had and addressed them. He and his staff are compassionate and caring and fun as well. I also like suggestions he would make for the best outcome, as well as what he would not do to me because of bad outcomes. My final results have given me a great boost in self confidence I was not expecting. I tend to set the bar very high, and Dr Jejurikar was able to more than satisfy me, and I thank him every day.

World class surgeon who I'd recommend to anyone needing major surgery (that was my situation after shattering my femur in Mexico and it becoming infected, which left a hole in my leg, which he filled in with a muscle and skin graph). Coincidentally, 2 years later my friend also received surgery from him after a major injury to his face. Both surgeries were both successful and "Dr. J" was terrific with communicating what was going on and answering questions (for me and what I saw with my friend).
"Dr. J" was recommended to me by a neighbor who works in healthcare after I shattered my femur in Mexico, which required 5 surgeries in total. One of these was a major surgery to repair complications from infection. My neighbor informed me that all of the surgeons she works with know and respect Dr. Jejurikar; This was affirmed after seeing the stunned reaction from my orthopedic surgeon after telling him who I elected to go with on a surgery he wasn't able to perform - although they worked at 2 different hospitals. - Dr. J. is tremendously busy, therefore scheduling surgeries can be difficult, but I'd recommend pursuing a surgeon who's in demand. - Since he's in such demand, the following day's post-surgery consultation might leave you waiting - but I promise it is worth EVERY SECOND because he provides clear explanation to your situation and thoroughly answers all of your questions. Plus, he might be one of the best plastic surgeons in Illinois and the US. Two years later, I am still very grateful I chose Dr. Jejurikar to perform my surgery. I definitely would recommend him to anyone!!!!! * (Although, he's a big University of Michigan fan, so I would encourage any Ohio State fans to abstain from mentioning that because he might insert a comment or two during consultations that takes a jab at Ohio State (or in my experience, Michigan State - it was the year they blocked the punt on the last play to win the game). Regardless, he is a world class surgeon and terrific human being!
Dr.Jejurikar, Maureen and Maria are the best super attentive to your needs. I had a procedure with him almost a year ago and I loveeeeee the outcome.. Highly recommended!!!
