"Dr. J" was recommended to me by a neighbor who works in healthcare after I shattered my femur in Mexico, which required 5 surgeries in total. One of these was a major surgery to repair complications from infection. My neighbor informed me that all of the surgeons she works with know and respect Dr. Jejurikar; This was affirmed after seeing the stunned reaction from my orthopedic surgeon after telling him who I elected to go with on a surgery he wasn't able to perform - although they worked at 2 different hospitals. - Dr. J. is tremendously busy, therefore scheduling surgeries can be difficult, but I'd recommend pursuing a surgeon who's in demand. - Since he's in such demand, the following day's post-surgery consultation might leave you waiting - but I promise it is worth EVERY SECOND because he provides clear explanation to your situation and thoroughly answers all of your questions. Plus, he might be one of the best plastic surgeons in Illinois and the US. Two years later, I am still very grateful I chose Dr. Jejurikar to perform my surgery. I definitely would recommend him to anyone!!!!! * (Although, he's a big University of Michigan fan, so I would encourage any Ohio State fans to abstain from mentioning that because he might insert a comment or two during consultations that takes a jab at Ohio State (or in my experience, Michigan State - it was the year they blocked the punt on the last play to win the game). Regardless, he is a world class surgeon and terrific human being!
Dr.Jejurikar, Maureen and Maria are the best super attentive to your needs. I had a procedure with him almost a year ago and I loveeeeee the outcome.. Highly recommended!!!
I met him a month ago was going with a general surgeon for my surgery but was advised to check him out and just from his compassion when talking to him n him explaining everything i decided to go with him .
Great doctor, fabulous bedside manor, kind, listens to all concerns, and never rushes you. Did my surgeries (henia ect..) And no scaring hardly at all unbelievable! Life changing After a lifetime of back and neck pain, I finally went for a reduction (and lift). Insurance covered it after assessing size and history of PT and pain meds. I went from a 34DDD to what will likely be a 34D, which is perfect for my frame. Stay overnight if at all possible. I don't know how people go home right after! Drains are gross, and recovery is tough, but WORTH IT. I am 6 months post-op and my incisions are still tender and I can't wear an underwire for very long. But I don't really need to unless I want to add a little oomph. My nipples have feeling but are very sensitive. One half of my left breast has little feeling and this extends to my side, which is annoying. This side has been the most troublesome to heal and is not as round and "perfect" as the other. But these are risks that I accepted and the benefits definitely outweigh the annoyances. My fiance loves them and I can't wait to rock a bikini that I would otherwise never have been able to wear! This site was so helpful and I'm here to support anyone going through it or considering it 🙂
He is a fantastic doctor. He is a very caring and compassionate person.I am a breast cancer survivor and he did reconstructive surgery recently and I was very pleased with the results.I would recommend Dr.J to anyone.
I highly recommend Dr. Jejurikar. After extensively searching for a doctor, I came across Dr. Jejikar and read all of his positive reviews. He did not disappoint. He has a way of making you feel at ease. He was always very patient with all of my questions. I can’t say enough about the positive results I had with my surgery. I feel like a new person.
